Global stocks sank in March of this year as the spread of COVID-19 nearly closed the world economy. At the same time, interest rates plummeted and bonds experienced significant volatility. Shortly thereafter in April, markets recovered faster than anyone could have possibly predicted. In this session, we’ll outline the critical lessons learned and discuss what actions associations should be considering now, such as: is it time to sell stocks, are bonds safe, should we rebalance, and how can we safely earn more in fixed income?
