Aligning your investments with your organizational values is becoming the norm in nonprofit investing. This presentation explores the first steps nonprofits should take in order to reflect their values in their investments from both a policy perspective and an investment implementation perspective. Attendees will leave this session better informed about Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) investing and better prepared to make effective decisions with their investments.
Nonprofit leaders will learn definitions of both Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) and Environmental, Social Governance (ESG) investing and best practices for incorporating value investing into investment policies, performance expectation differences, fees involved/risks involved, and common misconceptions.
