Meet Our Team

Ryan Frydenlund is the Director of Operations at Raffa where he plays a central role in enabling a consistent, well-run client experience across the firm. He oversees the systems and operational processes that support billing, compliance, reporting, and firm infrastructure, and works to strengthen reliability and scalability across the business.

Since joining Raffa in 2017, Ryan has led the development and refinement of the firm’s internal systems and processes, significantly enhancing efficiency, consistency, and service quality across all client relationships. He is widely regarded within the firm for his attention to detail, process discipline, and commitment to maintaining high standards of service and accountability.  In addition to Ryan’s work on the operational side of the business, he is also a member of Raffa’s portfolio management committee and has advised clients on a broad range of complex topics.

Prior to joining Raffa, Ryan began his career at Cambridge Associates, LLC, where he supported investment operations, research, and performance analysis for institutional portfolios.

As an active member in the nonprofit and association community, Ryan has contributed educational content through organizations and outlets such as the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the Colorado Society of Association Executives (CSAE), National Council of Nonprofits, UST Education, Association TRENDS, Association Forum, Association Societies Alliance, and others. Additionally, Ryan currently serves on the Programs Committee for the Colorado Society of Association Executives (CSAE).

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Wake Forest University and has earned multiple advanced industry designations, including the Certified Investment Management Analyst^SM designation, the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement^TM, and the Sustainable Investing Certificate from the CFA institute®. He is an investment adviser representative of Raffa Investment Advisers.
